2006-2006 elections

Board Election Result!

To:                 All Rotary Global History  Fellowship Members (RGHF)

Copy:             Rotary International

The election result is now ready for the Rotary Year 2006-2007 Board.

First of all, I want to thank the members, who participated as candidates. It shows that we have a vibrant democracy in Rotary Global History Fellowship.

Second, I want to congratulate the following 12 candidates, who were elected as Board Members for Rotary year 2006-2007:

·        Rajinder Singh Bedi

·        Carlos Garcia Calzada

·        Geri A Appel

·        Edward Blender

·        Calum Thomson

·        Jack M. B. Selway

·        Maureen Yvonne Bond

·        Ramon H. MacFarlane

·        Albert W. K. Wong

·        Richard M. McKay

·        Vijay S Makhija

·        Judy Magub

There will be no less than five new Members of the Board during the next Rotary Year, which shows that we have a strong Rotary spirit of rotation.

Third, I want to thank all our members, who participated in our democratic process with their voting. The success of our election makes me think about what Rotary Founder Paul Harris wrote in the Rotarian, August 1926:

Let us keep our hearts strong, enthusiasm fresh, hope high. As long as we keep imbued with this spirit, Rotary can never die.

Yours in Rotary Service,

Mats Ingemanson
