2005 Comely Bank Dedication, Chicago

Paul & Jean Harris lived in a Chicago home known as Comely Bank from 1912 to 1947. Paul named the home after the Edinburgh, Scotland street where his bride Jean grew up. In 2005 a group of Rotarians formed a foundation to raise funds for the purchase and operation of the home as a Rotary president's museum. The dedication ceremony on June 16, 2005 immediately preceded the International Conference. Several Rotary Presidents participated along with RI Board members and other notable Rotarians. The pictures shown below are from that event.
