Dear friend in Rotary,

It was sad to hear the story of terrorism in your area.  We all pray for you all people.  Kindly inform me the current status about causalities if any to Rotarians.  Our prayers are with you.

 Dear Rotarians:

We are completely shocked and saddened by this outrage. It's

unbelievable. We completely condemn this attack, and we, as Turkish

Rotarians, convey our  condolences to the American people, to the American president and to  the American administration, not only in our name but also on behalf

of the Turkish people.

Our country had suffered a lot from terrorism over the years and our

loss has reached more than 40,000 as a result of those terrorist

attacks. That is the reason why we do understand the feelings of American people more  than any other nation in the world.

As Rotarians, and above all, as human beings, we pray that this

outrage be tempered by prudence, understanding and forgiveness. We are

all brothers and sisters, so we will walk this journey of freedom together and never

ever forget that MANKIND IS OUR BUSINESS.

 Yours in Rotary Service,

, District Foundation President, DISTRICT 2420 Turkey

Dear Fellow Rotarian,

The tragic news of the terror that hit New York - Manhattan and Washington DC has shocked the world.   We, the Rotary Club of Manila will offer a moment of silent prayer for the victims of this terrorism, for world tranquility and for the speedy arrest of terrorism, so that mankind worldwide will continue to live in peace.

Dear Jack, Matts and All others of Rotaryclubhistory Committee,

We of Rotary Calcutta and District 3290 congratulate you on the superbly informative website created by you. To get to know about it from Matts and you and to visit it on the heels of the overwhelming tragedy in New York and Washington was a redemption of one's faith in Rotary and Rotarians.

Though we in India have lived with daily alien-sponsored terrorism continuously for several decades, we are stunned and shocked by the sheer magnitude and the violence of these terrorist attacks. The death of innocents and destruction witnessed by the whole world has touched everybody. Our heartfelt sympathies to all. Please convey our condolences to any one in your organisations who may have lost family or friends. Thank you Matts, for sharing your and Rotary's experience of this possibly single biggest terrorist action ever.

We also thank you for starting the special page for RotaryAsia and the homepages of our Clubs. It gives us added enthusiasm to rededicate ourselves to Rotary's Business of Mankind. We will be celebating our Club's 82nd birthday in a few days and we send you all our greetings.

Anshu Banerjee, President, Rotary Club of Calcutta

Dear friends,
Just tell us what we can do in India and we will do it as the rotarians.
 In this situation I would keep very calm. If some one instigates to fight;
just keep cool to have his ideas fail; this will give us time to find
permanent solution. Concentrate on the features that will revive the economy,
Find out the possibility to solve the problems by descent behaviour even with
the enemies. The war has never done good to winner and loser both . It is
time that the good people should unite and give every thing to fight the
neucence with the inner strength to leave this world a better place for our
children. The rotary is the platform to achieve this. Harshida bhatt dist

We have similar experience not man made but nature made The earthquake. so we
understand the loss, Please ask us to help you.

Hi all of our friends in the USA,

We listened and watched with horror, a black Tuesday. We have no words to express what we feel. Our prayers are for each and every one who has lost their life and their bereaved families too.

Each of us have experienced a deep sense of loss. May God give all the strength to bear up this great tragedy.
